HmmI think this would differ more in Europe where I am currently from as we have higher wattages not to say that it is anything to do with the end suction result? How well sealed we're the older models compared to the new? I have an EU S5 with a 2200w motor which sticks to the carpet but would like to know the difference perhaps the older 1600w or the new EU regulated range
