Kevin, Electrolux never did anything quite so fancy as a dirt meter. There are cloth demo bags for every model to dump the dirt on the floor/couch/carpet/mattress. The better ones have a clear plastic top so you can see the cyclonic action whipping the dirt around in the bag before dumping.
