Kirby 511 or the model that was available in 1951.My Mom says the vacuum was bought in Ohio the year I was born-they moved from Mas. to Ohio that year-and a DTD salesman doing door knocking or "Van Campaigns" sold it to them.My Mom was mad at Dad when he used the Kirby's sprayer to spray varnish on paneling in a room he was remodling-he took the machine to Kirby for cleanup and refurbishing-after that he bought a Sears Craftsman air compressor and paint sprayer for his spraying jobs.Still looking for one of those Kirbys.It was lost in the Rapid City SD flood in 1972.The machine still worked-the tools were lost years before.
