In 1985, the year I was born. My relatives were not using new vacuums. The exception being my mother and great-grandmother who were using Hoover Convertibles that were fairly recent for the time. (see post above).
Even though I'm not yet 40. I'm so thankful I wasn't born in the cheap Walmart Bissell plastic crap era that continues today.
