Sprayer.

Hi my friend, at first I thought it was the patent of the early Electrolux models like XXX, or LX, but the pictures change all that. Now I'd say Filter Queen around the late 1940's. I'll need to read the patent info to get the date.

Sprayer

Might be Apex. Many sprayers were the same fit all unit that was used by many vac companies.Others such as Electrolux,Kirby, later GE,Filtex,Rainbow & Hoover had their own unique designs usually with name imprinted.
These were often standard equipment along with a moth ball attachment.

What's unique about this liquid sprayer, is the 'stop/start' design. Rexair's sprayer had a hole in the top, over which you placed your thumb. Let up, or slide back, your thumb and the liquid spray stopped. The Electrolux sprayer operated whenever the machine was "on", and had only fine mist/broad spray settings for wax or shampoo.

This sprayer looks to have the ability to accept inch and a quarter hose ends, which was standard size (for many machines) at the time.
