What has gotten into my Panasonic!?

It is being... GOOD!?

As you perhaps know, I've said in the past that I don't much like my 2004 Panasonic MC-E8011 Twin Cyclonic Bagless Cylinder, but recently, it has been working really well!

I've used it 5-6 times without emptying the bin, and the suction is still great!

Usually I can only use it about 2-3 times before the suction decreases and the slurping noise starts (I presume that is the relief valve).

I just can't believe it...

I normally clean the filters in the washing machine, but last time I just did them by hand - Could that have made the difference ?

More likely what you have been vacuuming up. If you use other cleaners, they may have removed more muck which is no longer there to clog your panasonic.

Nope - It is still vacuuming up all the dirt it usually does, and the bin is filling as quickly.
