What Do People Think Of The Dyson DC15 Animal?


 


I'm getting one, despite never using one. Does anyone know what they're like?

OMG I always wanted one, I heard they groom well, and I think it does because of the way the brushbar looks, it also has a metal sole plate, unlike most vacuums, so will last, and can get scraped around without breaking, also they do have a large debris channel, this is good because of what it is designed for, but if you want more power, shove up a piece of plastic bag in there to seal suction

Remember, the DC15 is a DC14 but with a ball

What I think? Why would you want a vacuum you have to shove plastic bags into to seal suction? I had a DC14 once, it threw sand back onto my feet (NOT fun!) While vacuuming, and was not a good deep-cleaner. That happened when I tested it against my Fantom Thunder,I never used that Dyson again! It had a short life, with a watery end!

I think the bit i'm most looking forward to is the Ball. I have used Ball machines before, but never a DC15. It's been seller refurbished apparently, but I will give it a once over when I get it. He's selling either an Al Floors or an Animal, so I went for the Animal.  It was only £49.95, and I get £5 off for trading in a faulty DC08, so I'm pleased with the price, as normally they go for lots more than that on eBay.

Super sweeper, the thing is optional, but I do it anyways to have more suction. The large debris channel is fine, but I want more power. The DC14 never had a metal sole plate, the DC15 does.
Awesome Jacob! I think you will like it, because everybody I know with a DC15 likes them, my uncle has a white DC15 Allergy.
And IKR, the DC15's always go for a lot.
Also,if the DC15 cleaner head is clear, it Is a later style DC15. If not, then it is early
