About 800 mixers vacuums blenders waffle irons and other appliances over 300 miles to our house in NC. its been a 4 month journey. 2 15 foot U Haul trucks full. driving home in pouring rain and snow. along with about 10 or 12 pickup loads. It all started at the end of Febuary. I got a call from a old dear friend who asked in his very direct no nonsense way.."How would you like my entire collection!" Well I was flabbergasted to say the least.so Donald and I went to take inventory. I had last been there about 10 years ago. so I knew how much stuff was there. we started and in about 1 or maybe 2 more trips should be finished. My friend is enjoying his now roomy house. and I am having a great time sorting and polishing machines. I have to get a new camera before I can post pictures. but now my basement is the mixer and blender room and my vacuum building is bursting at the seams. I think I now have about 700 or so machines. maybe more I haven't counted.there are many very rare vacuums. a few are a Norca. a Norca hand cleaner. 2 Regina uprights.many old Hoovers. a beautiful 87 Constellation. many Lewyts.a 85 Constellation and many many more. I'm using a Wizard Imperial right now. basically a 900 Roto Matic but with one difference ive never seen. the Eureka rug tool that has been made in every color and sold with countless machines..is aluminum. not plastic! I never thought I would ever see some of these machines. I have to thank my good friend for them. I promised I wouldn't mention his name. but he is one of the original vacuum collectors and one of the first collectors I met over 20 years ago. Their are wonderful giving people in the world. I'm lucky to know some of them!
