Back in with the Hotpoint range, After changing all the controls on the WH, I ran into a problem , I continually had issues with baking, the top of whatever was in the oven was overbrowned, almost to the point of burning, the bottom nearly white, I kept trying to figure out why, so yesterday I turned it to 350 and sat down with it, at first everything was fine, the bottom element got red and the oven preheated properly, the second time it cycled it was also fine, but the third time ,the bottom unit did not heat, the top did as it should and heated at 120 volts, so then, all the oven heat from here on was being supplied with top heat, thus overbrowning the food and not baking the bottom, I found if you just barely touched the dial, the bottom heat would come on, so I just decided I would go back to the Hotpoint, It is in better shape anyway.

How about a pic of one or both? A good friend of mine has the Westinghouse that is very close to the model that Lucy had on the original series, he loves that stove.
