I received the 1.25" cuff today and with the 8' hose attached i'm getting 97.61 CFM at the hose end so a loss of about 11. Considering the length and diameter of the hose it's still very good but i'm uncertain if this is the direction I should take. i kind of wish i should shorten the hose by about a foot or get one in 1 3/8 diameter so the difference would be less significant. I have considered two other options for adding a power nozzle (the volt being one of them) they all have their pros and cons and I tend to overthink things, so i'm still trying to figure out what i want to do.
The port has still not been added, that will be taken care of (if necessary) once I've got this figured out.
Honestly, the Volt is really the simplest option, you can use the original Henry hose and no modifications are required to the machine. The only down side is the cost of the nozzle but that's a one time thing.

1. Battery - the need to charge
2. It cannot be taken apart for storage, my vac closets are already quite full.
3. Stretch belt
4. Wooden brushroll
Don't get me wrong I love my Wonder's tandem air nozzle but the volt just seems like a downgrade from that.
I called one of our Reps today hoping they were developing a corded version for central vacs and was told while it's been thought about no one has acted on it.
I'm also going to be contacting the company that makes the electric hose to see if i could get a shorter or wider version
