Water Filtration Vacuum

I found a very cheap water filtration vacuum made by the company Kalorik at Home Depot today and it made me wonder if all water filtration vacuums are generally on the same level of cleaning, and if this $100 Kalorik was nearly as good as a sirena of rainbow (adjusting for the lack of a PN by the Kalorik though). I just thought it an interesting topic because I've never owned a vacuum that used water filtration.

That machine has no separator. Which means it uses very little water and has baffles to keep the water from splashing into the motor. However, these baffles get filthy with wet cat hair, food particles, etc. You do not want a water filtration vacuum that uses baffles. Filthy nasty mess to clean

I've had water filtration machines for a few months now and if they have a separator, yes, they do work and don't have the issues that plague most bagless vacuums, that is, dust going all over the place when you empty them and filters that clog very fast, reducing airflow and thus reducing cleaning performance. If you want a bagless vacuum, a water filtration machine is the way to go as long as it has a separator. As Tom said, avoid the ones that don't have separators, those would probably be even worse to clean out than a regular bagless vacuum if that's possible. If you want a good water filtration machine, get a rainbow or Sirena. I've heard the Delphin is also good but those are harder to find.
