WANTED : Outer Cloth Bag Hoover Commercial Upright

Hi Again

Well, I have succeeded in "converting" (lol) my Hoover Ranger U4014 to a "bottom fill" system.

But I am now wanting to replace its outer vinyl bag, with the largest cloth bag that would fit it. I am told that any cloth bag that has the "Oval shaped metal ring, which is tightened round the bellows with a simple nut and bolt arrangement"..will fit it.

I would ideally like a used outer cloth bag from a Hoover U912, U612 or U7008 Commercial Upright as these have what seem to be the largest cloth bags of any upright.

Could anyone tell me if any of those bags have that metal oval clip arrangement please ?

And if anyone has a spare bag for sale, I would love to buy it, but only if they are UK BASED please. I am willing to pay a fair price.

Here's hoping someone might be able to find one in their store room !!

Just a reminder to any collectors based in the UK...

Please could you have a look in the rear of your store rooms, or in the dusty corners of your shelving, to see if you have a used outer cloth bag from a Hoover U912 or U7008 Commercial Upright, laying about please ?

I will pay a fair price for one !
