WANTED: kirby 516 attachments

does anyone have any Kirby 516 accessories i could buy form them? i am looking to buy a whole set.

Per the early 1965 edition of the Kirby service manual covering models 505 to Sanitronic VII, the replacement part numbers for the 516 attachment set were:
188056 - blower connection gasket
200061S - lifter grip, red plastic
2002 - lifter grip 'S' hook
2020 - shoulder strap
206056S - floor duster pad complete, red
210056 - suction connector, metal
212059S - blower connection, red (first appeared on model 519, superseded original metal blower connector 212056)
2141 - massage cup, red
2160 - utility air nozzle, red
2180S - upholstery brush complete, red
2182S - duster brush complete, red
219758S - surface nozzle complete less elbow, red (first appeared on model 518)
227557S - surface nozzle elbow, red (first appeared on model 518)
2220S - Crystalator complete, red
223656S - hose complete, red
2240 - extension tube, straight, red
2250 - extension tube, curved, red
226057S - radiator tool with brush (first appeared on model 517)
250061G - spray gun complete, red (first appeared on model 561, superseded original metal spray gun 2500G)

Any tool part numbers in parentheses and say "first appeared on" are those that did not originally come with the 516's attachment set, but rather in attachment sets on subsequent models to 561, although they will work with the 516.

As to finding these attachments, they will be tough finds. Your best bet is to search eBay for them. I did find an original red 516 hose with coupler connections on it.

Kirby Red Attachments (Pre-1962)

Here's a set of Kirby attachments that may be suitable for your 516. Original box included. Original hose is there, but you may want to try out the suction coupler on it to see if it's right for your machine.

Otherwise you may try the Classic III hose.

I wanted to tell you, too, that the Surface Nozzle was not part of the standard attachment set (it had to be ordered separately) for any Kirby model until the 562 Sanitronic came out in 1962.
