Airway Hose

I would also like to purchase a non-electric standard airway hose so I can use the attachments.. I also need the wands (see my other thread) Dan.. My email is in my profile...

More specifically,

I need the metal end that connects to the vacuum. I really don't care what shape the hose is in. The reason is because I have an Air-Way Centurion, the first out of only 26 machines ever made. I'd like to avoid using the original power nozzle at all cost because of the unique brushroll. I'll use the hose if I must, but I'd rather find one second hand.

Unique brush roll?

I thought the centurion used the centec/ kenmore power nozzle? What's unique about the brush roll? Just asking, very heard this before.

Take a look

This brushroll had rows of red tufted bristles. This was unique to Airway, I'm not sure if any other models had this. Tom G. Would know for sure. I'll add more pics as soon as I can figure out if they need to go in the vintage or contemporary section because machine is only 9 years old but it is an Airway.

Wow

That's a new one. The red bristles are really cool looking too. I completely understand saving it. I would probably take it out and put a regular white bristle roller in for use. But that's just me.

Yeah I thought about that.........

but I've never had a machine in such perfect condition and I don't want the power head to get scratched up. Tom said his mother used it about 6 times and then tucked it away in a closet because she preferred uprights.
