A Vactric?
With wheels, it sounds like it is a Silent Q. One thing you need to be aware of is that these old Vactrics are very prone to the insulation breaking down.
ENSURE THAT YOU ONLY RUN THE CLEANER CONNECTED TO A SOCKET WITH A GROUND CONNECTION, IDEALLY WITH ITS OWN CIRCUIT BREAKER AND CHECK THE CONTINUITY OF THE GROUND BEFORE CONNECTING
If the cleaner comes with a two wire cord replace it with a grounded version and attach the ground to the body of the machine. Did you buy it from the UK?
