Hi orecklover.

It looks like a Eureka model shortly after the Roll-O-Matic (shown here in candy apple red/gray) I'd say late 1950's. This style was also made by Singer, around the same time.

sanitaire

The cleaner was made by Eureka about 1960-61 if memory is correct. It used the big C paper bags I think. Sorry I can't tell you more. I was given one just like it a couple of years ago.

that ist's when the name "sanitaire" was being added on the the Eurekas. Just a guess. Cool vac, though!

This must be Eureka's first use of its special commercial-line brand-name "Sanitaire"!!!! Wow!!!

That looks like the larger, more deluxe "Super Roto-Matic" - with the extra large handle and anti-tip wider base......nice find Orecklover!!!
