I love the Vornado!!

I too love fans, the only other vintage one I have right now is a Bob Irwin floor fan, I've never really seen another one like it. I also did not know that Hoover made a box fan. My other "vintage" fan is a Hunter reproduction, ironically it's the most expensive one lol.

Hi Mike.. I'll take a look thru some piles but I don't think I have any Eureka floor tools other than for the couple of Eureka canisters I have. Speaking of model trains I've kept a few pieces from my train set from when I was a kid. When we had a small acreage before I retired one of my dreams was to have a small garden r.r. setup but that never materialized. However I did manage to work for the r.r. (CPR) all my live long day so it was sort of a consolation LOL.

Steve, the only one of those I had now resides in Stratford.. I don't think it had the tools with it. The only lux's I have now are a red, a green, and a factory refurb model G. If your dads 90 you must be around my age, 29 and holding.... you didn't go to St.Clair did you LOL

Good Morning Mike Brian, Austin and Peter. Mike you are right part of the reason we are able to collect such vintage items is because they had not been made of plastic or all plastic. I would say part of the love of collecting is the architecture of the items.

Brian, my partner found the Sunbeam Junior Mixer stand at one of the antique co op’s in London north which had booths that various people populated. Over the years we have been able to collect all 6 colours to complete the stand so it now has the original White, Yellow, Turquoise, Copper, Chrome and Pink. This would be one of my favorite completed items within the collection. As for house colours pleased you like them.

Austin, thanks for sharing the picture of the Bob Irwin fan as I can say I have not seen one of these either and thought you might like the looks for the Vornado and understand the point on cost of fans as they have really gotten more expensive as people have been collecting them.

Hi Peter as for personal vintage I would say we are close in age and I did not go to St. Clair my sister did and I went to St Pat’s. Thank for the feedback on the Electrolux, I am happy to get it piece by piece if you run across one in your travels. When you indicated that the one you had is now in Stratford is it now part of Dave’s collection in Stratford?

Have a great day everyone and enjoy the Daytona 500 as today is race day!
