So I wandered by one of my favorite Goodwill stores this evening and spotted a nice looking Kenmore twin motor upright from maybe the late '60s or early '70s. it was white with avacado green accents and bag with a green and white houndstooth pattern. The height control has a very prominent "shag" setting, typeset with looks like "Austin Powers" style lettering--Yeah, Baby! The motor housing is plastic and the whole thing is pretty lightweight. They only wanted $10 for it, but even though it's a cool period piece, it just wasn't my cup of tea, so I left it for someone else.
