Howdy-
First off, let me make an excuse: I'm a complete newbie when it comes to vacuum cleaners.
I came across an old, working, brown Eureka 550 canister vacuum cleaner.
I'd like to know what it's worth & would be interested in selling it.
I live in Pasadena, CA.
I put lots of pictures at http://s242.photobucket.com/albums/ff97/infernolab/Vacuum/?start=all
Here's as thorough a description as I can attempt:
- in very good overall condition
- plugged it in & turned it on--runs fine, good suction, doesn't appear to have any leaks
- some scratches on top outside--some look like paint from something else, so perhaps some will buff out?
- super super clean on the inside--motor is clean too
- includes a bag that looks almost new--I can hear a few particles of dust/dirt rattling about in the bag
- rubber seal around lid is still flexible--it's not cracked or rotten
- latches hold the 2 halves together snug
- 1 rear wheel's bracket is bent & the wheel rubs. I can likely bend this straight & get it to turn OK, if requested
- hose is flexible & good
- power cord has no cuts or problems--prongs are straight
- no attachments for the hose
You can mail me at jasonbardis atyahoodotcom
Thanks--please feel free to ask me any questions!
