I have,

six Oster blenders. Two John Oster and four Sunbeam Osters. I like the 400watt models just fine. The newer 500-600watt motors scream and vibrate too much. They also don't fold the ingredients as well as the slower 400watt machines do. Just my experience, I imagine the newer models would crush ice better! The oldest I have was my grandparents chrome beehive single speed toggle switch, no handle on vase.

The Osterizer Galaxie Dual Range 14 Speed and Galaxie Dual Range Pulse Matic 16 Speed are both Chrome coated plastic, I had an Oster Beehive from walmart, in 2015 it didn't last long.

I have a hoover

Beehive. Those old ble designs were under rYmted we never hD a blender when I was a kid. MYbe that's why I have many now. Milkshakes, anyone?

I really like the Hoover ones in avocado, especially the one with the built in spatula in the lid.

Another favorite are the Warings with the clover leaf shaped ribbed jar especially in avocado. I liked that 90s Apple green model with the toggle switch too, I think it comes in different colors now.

Love those green Hoover blenders! And a Beehive with push buttons? Never saw one of those!
