Thanks for the info Jimmy.  It is quite an interesting machine.  I would say it was their answer to the Hoover Portable (Suitcase style) machines.  Singer did also have one that was the same as the Eureka Crown Princess.

I would say you were definitely right about the removable tool rack for it as you can see an area on the back of the machine that hasn't yellowed as much as the rest.  The rack probably covered that.
