Early Royal
Nice find there, but definitely a diamond in the rough. I have one too, and mine is still a work in progress. Mine was made in April of 1926 and going by the serial number, yours is older as the serial on mine is 483480. If by chance you have to take it apart for motor repair, you will find the month and year it was built stamped on the armature. Here's a couple pics of mine when I first got it. First one is a pic of the whole vac, second is a closeup of the nozzle, fan case, and bag outlet, third is a closeup of the handle showing the unusual push button switch.
