Hello all,
I am looking to sell some of my vacuums please mail me your offers through vacuumland.
First vacuum up for sale is a hoover convertible model 589.
Condition: good condition, needs new motor brushes, bag installed.
Items included are 10 extra vacuum cleaner bags.

Crushed newspaper wadding is inadequate packing material for

heavy vacuums.


I hope you have the vacuum body and disassembled handle parts double bubble-wrapped and padded under that wadded newspaper - Newspaper compresses and lets things rattle around each other loose in the box during the transport phase , damages and scratches, even cracks, adjacent parts.


 


Just sayin' for future reference.

Dave, You should have seen

The way my Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition was packed.  Disassembled and thrown in the box with NO packing material.  No bubble wrap,  no peanuts,  no newspaper,  no nothing.  Talk about fit to be tied.  Luckily, it survived the trip, but I'm sure it's got a few more bruises than when it first went into the box.
