I'm not on this glorious, fun-filled site daily, and many of other members are not able to view daily either.

I do love the Vacuum of the Day feature, but how will I know what beautiful machines I've missed out on?

My Proposal, To have a bar above the daily picture, above the "It's been viewed ____ Times Today!" Button, which allows you the option to click on one of 7 days, allowing you to view previous P.O.D's. Let's say I logged on Monday, but haven't been back to the site until Today (Thursday). When I go to check the daily picture, I'll be prompted by a message above the P.O.D stating something along the lines of, "Run out of Bags? Here's what you've missed!", or one of those amazing little messages you (The adored-by-all-members Webmaster) seem to come up with!

I thought that would be neat, please do let me know what you think!

It's a great idea that hope to see put into action one day. But I'm sure that all the Administators on Vacuumland have things to do pertaining to the Cleveland convention. (Can't wait!)

Hi Guys, I always appreciate suggestions from everyone, some ideas are quite viable and I have implemented them while others for varying reasons are not. When they are not I try to explain as best as I can why that is.

When I created the original site back in 2001 (it originally was called classicappliances.com until 2004 when I changed it to automaticwasher.org), I created the Picture of the Day as a hook to try and get people to visit the site at least once daily. The idea was if there was a picture that changed every day a certain percentage of users would want to see it. Now if I made the changes you are requesting it would be convenient, but unfortunately it would somewhat nullify my original reasons for having the rotating PODs.

I'm sure that all the Administators on Vacuumland have things to do pertaining to the Cleveland convention.
Sorry everyone, I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I just want to be sure that everyone understands that Vacuumland and VCCC are two completely separate/independent organizations now. As such, we have nothing to do with the VCCC's convention. While Fred and I still plan on attending them now and then to have fun with our friends, it is important that everyone understand the difference between Vacuumland and the VCCC now.
