"All is quite in the cottage since the master left, until a brave red Toaster decides NO MORE! Toaster and his friends, including a fuzzy electric blanket, a portable radio, a blue goose-necked lamp and a crochety old royal vacuum cleaner decide to find there master in the far away city. In this fun adventure based on the novel by Thomas Disch the group of appliances face danger in a big, wild world..." Basically I'm making a live action remake of the brave little toaster, for the vacuum character I'll be using my royal m4000 vacuum cleaner. So what do you guys think of the project?

RED Toaster!?

The toaster was Chrome in all the movies!

I loved that Movie as a Kid, I still have my VHS copy of "The Brave Little Toaster goes to Mars" in my bedroom!

The Vacuum was a Kirby-The best fit being the Dual-Sanitronic 80 (Kirby was a sum-up of all things Kirby, in Green). Being in Britain you didn't get ANY Kirbys until the Model 1-CR, The model of which replaced the DS-80 in 1969. At the very least, A KIRBY should play the part as KIRBY! It's like asking Miley Cyrus to play John Travolta in "American Grease", They're differenton so many levels!

Makes me wonder what you plan to use for the other appliances?

Thank you for the feedback. First off, this adaptation is based mainly on the novel and the vacuum character was a Hoover ( A junior 1224 I assume)anyway I only own a Kirby G5 at the moment and I don't want to use it for filming, I don't want to use any of my Hoovers either (including my junior 1224) so I decided to use the Royal m4000. And as for the red toaster- It's an adaptation, I'm afraid there has to be changes. But filming has commenced and it should be released online at some point this year!

A junior 1224 I assume

Doubtful, seeing as the guy who wrote it is American. The 1224 was never sold in the US. In the book, Hoover was described as being a very big, strong machine. I imagine the author would have been thinking back to his own childhood, meaning it is likely to be based on a much older Hoover, or an early US convertible.

I think that is brill I have all the vhs tapes of little toaster

not watched them since I was 9 now im 15
