Yeah it looks like a nice site but even for Amazon selection I think you could do MUCH BETTER!!!
A Proteam Proforce dual motor upright would do better than the Oreck XL commercial. Eureka Boss 1934B at $80 is a better buy than many of the units posted. It will clean well and be very easy to maintain, it will definitely outclean the Oreck Commercial and Sharks you have listed!! Sebo Felix for a well made unit with attachments and fully sealed system. Fuller Brush Mighty Maid is a good one made by Tacony and since Amazon can't sell Riccar or Simplicity then Fuller Brush would be the closest to them along with Maytag uprights. The Shark Rocket I don't even consider an upright and as mentioned you can't replace parts on Sharks. For a bagless recommendation you could do a Panasonic bagless. The Miele Dynamic U1 series would be a great reliable unit with Sealed HEPA filtration and powerful cleaning. Most definitely the Maytag M1200 should be mentioned!!! A very high performance dual motor unit that will outclean any Shark and any Dyson and numerous other machines. It's only $655 on Amazon!! For a machine like the Riccar/ Simplicity SupraLite line then the Maytag M500 fits the boat at only $379.95---It will far outclean the Oreck commercial.
For hand vacs I think the Fuller Brush Power Maid Handheld should be mentioned.
Canisters should be divided straight suction and power nozzle. The Hoover PortaPower is well made but it really is straight commercial and it has a small bag capacity. For a better recommendation of a non-wheeled backpack/ shoulder canister I'd look to ProTeam backpacks. Tons of power on those and far greater bag capacity and filtration. Or could also do a Hoover commercial bagpack machine---the ShoulderPro C2401 is $259.33 on Amazon. Anything Bissell really isn't very durable. For a no frills straight suction canister on wheels I'd replace your post of the Bissell Zing with the Sanitaire Mighty Mite S3671D at $137.95 or also the Fuller Brush Home Maid line. The straight suction Home Maid canister is $149.92 and power nozzle version is $249.95 on Amazon. The Kenmore canister isn't bad, it is no frills. For better tools and same power the Panasonic MC-CG902 is $198. Another great Panasonic would be the MC-CL945 for bagless with the new Plush Pro nozzle. It's only $349.95, the bagged version with that power head is MC-CG957 and the best price I've seen anywhere for that unit at only $369.99!!! For a TOL canister how about the Miele C3 Cat and Dog complete. It has the SEB228 nozzle which if you know your vacuums like you say, you would know that the Wessel Werk EBK360 is a great power nozzle!!
I hope some of these choices help you!! From my experience you couldn't pay me to run the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional that you have posted!!! I used to do demos for Filter Queen and Rainbow and have seen the horrific stuff left behind by that model and some other Sharks!!!
