They copied

a lot of western products. Henry Ford even helped them with the Gorky-ZIL automotive plant.
Several copied General Motors and Packard styling. The first Moskvitch car was mainly an Opel Kadette, and the Lada sedan a Fiat 124.

Actually

Its almost exactly like a McAllister, which is a little different in that it uses a cloth filter and the pan as well as the hose connection is different, the power units are slightly different in size and one will not fit the pan on the other.
