I'm new to the central vacuum scene and I have an old Vacuflo Model 26. The entire power unit including the motor compartment is metal. After I use the vacuum, the top dome which is above the motor is warm to the touch and the exhaust piping is warm to the touch. Is this normal or is it a sign that the motor is on it's way out.

Hell, the exhaust air coming out of a shop vac is warm. Pretty sure it's nothing to worry about. Probably a large motor, they get warm.
