I was very pleasantly surprised to receive the makings for a Kirby lamp from Jim (VacMadMan) and a very nice card. Adam Mercer (the guru of all things Kirby) gave me the Kirby and now I have this wonderful 1952 Kirby Lamp. Much thanks to Jim.

The best part is you don’t have to modify your Kirby at all. You could in fact plug your Kirby in and start it while the lamp was on. You can remove the lamp from the Kirby in a moments time. I just love it. All the visitors to the museum will have a chance to see it. Next year‘s convention is going to be huge.
