My Upright Choices !I agree with Sam in saying any metal base Hoover Convertibles. Nothing "Beats" them ! Dependable, durable and well-performing on mostly all carpets. We also have a couple of Kirbys that are great performers too. I like our Kirby Classic CR1 because of the large head. Jill's favorite would be her Kirby Generation 5 because of the self-propelling tech drive. Kirbys are usually our daily drivers, but the Hoover Convertibles are fun and bring back great memories. I grew up with Mom's model 66 ! Grandma's Hoover model 63 and her upstairs vacuum was a Hoover model 29.
