Picked up a model MC-663 today at Value Village. It has three neat push buttons on the front for low, medium, and high.

I'm guessing it's from the 80's...?

Guy, what color is it? I have one from the 80's that is tan, but I've seen blue ones, too. I don't know the model #'s, but I think the blue ones came later.

I've never seen a Panasonic with 3 buttons across the top which gets me to wondering if it isn't an early model fashioned after the Kenmore Duo-Power upright which had 3 buttons across the top. They were made by Matsushita (panasonic) and came in blue and green

maybe...

I think I have one, camera is in the shop, so if I don't have any yet it will have to wait.

I have an aunt in Florida who had one of the real small Panasonic uprights when I was a kid. I remember it being extremely quiet, and I'd always use it when I went to her house. One of my suppliers introduced this upright a couple of years ago, supposedly saying it was taken from the molds of that machine. It's definitely not the same though; I sold one, and four months later it came back with a melted brushroll. I yanked it off the showroom as fast as I could.

I have the small Jet Flo Dual Purpose, it has the brushroll on/off switch and a switch for the full bag alert. The power switch is on the handle. I have another small one without the brushroll switch or the bag alert switch and the power switch is on top of the body casing.

there ya go

David posted my Panasonic, well actually not mine, its been claimed by the person who wanted it
