Their has been much talk about the bags leaking. I was sent 3 bags to try and they seemed to work ok, so I bought the newest ones available. I was baking and pouring my baking soda into a container and knocked the box with lid completely open into the floor. It was almost a new box, luckily I had another unopened. Anyway I got the Lux Guardian Platinum out and vacuumed up the mess on my kitchen tile floor. The bag change indicator came on by the time I finished, I would have changed it anyway due to the substance I vacuumed up...These vacuums leak, they need to put the gasket back on the inlet tube. I was shocked and p....d that the whole inside was covered in white powder, I had to get my Lux Legacy out and vacuum the inside including the top of the hepa filter in order to remove it.
Just as an after thought I looked in the bag compartment of the lux legacy. Spotless. What does that tell us Aerus??????
Just as a note, I did have to change the hepa filter due to this leakage, but it did not get under or around the hepa filter if that is any consolation !!!!!
I will stick with the Lux Legacy, maybe I can trade this in for the Upright and Canister 90th edition without losing an arm and leg....

Just wanted you to watch what you actually pick up, didn't think this would be a problem with the new bags and I would have changed the bag afterword since I picked up baking soda, I know it will clog a bag fast.....
And on some websites for freshening your carpet they recommend sprinkling baking soda and vacuuming it up after a half hour or so......
