Heres a few pics from our meet-up over the bank holiday weekend, having done Hoover 100th last year we wanted to concentrate on Electrolux & others, I had such a good time doing & enjoying that I only took a few pics, BUt others took loads so I`m sure they will post later!!

What we tried to get together was a "Wall of UK Lux" from 1920`s up to 80`s, Alistair (Vacbear58) diligently worked through the timeline placing all the vacs in chronological order and also withing the 3 areas of budget, middle and de-luxe!!!

We where trying to pull together all members Hotpoint machines for a timeline, Al (vacbear58) gladly brought with him his hotpoint cylinder, also Rob, Paul & myself managed to get the infamous Hotpoint Swallow that has been doing the rounds recently!!! here we have Hotpoint models form the 1930`s through to the 70`s

Hotpoints

I love first two Hotpoints on the left! The bags have a very similar design to the Premiers of the same era here in the states.

The wall of Lux

We managed to get and example of every UK postwar Lux (branded as Lux I mean) from 1945 to 1985 or maybe a little bit longer. Another cream cake to the person who can list the missing models.

As Mike said, they are arranged in market segment and time order left to right
