A dual-monitor setup is great for work such as Photoshop where the 'work surface' is on one monitor and the files, file windows and application icons are on the other.

I had this setup with my previous Mac but couldn't afford to do it when I got my new one a few years ago. Then this weekend I saw a beautiful Acer 23-inch LED HDMI monitor at Goodwill for $40.00! That's the smaller one on the right.

Both monitors are driven by a single video display card. (My main monitor is an Apple 27-inch LED Cinema Display.)

I hope all's well with all-y'alls on the Central / East Coast of the U.S. and you're managing alright in all that snow.

Sweet setup. If I still had a desktop computer, I'd consider a setup like that. For better or worse, I've moved entirely to laptops, my main one at home being a 17-inch MacBook pro. Yeah, it's a few years old, but it still hums along nicely with the latest Mac OS X "El Capitan". I definitely prefer it to the two-year-old crap-tastic HP laptop I have at work.
