Tristar on Ebay

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

it honestly sounds like a scam. A newer model tristar costs roughly the same as a Kirby. If he has that many he knows their value, and wouldn't sell them for that little.

I'm pretty sure it is a scam too. It also says it's in Spain. I am aware of how much Tristars typically cost, which is why I posted on here asking first.

UMMMM?

Great price. However, the seller has ZERO feedback and is located in Spain.

Like the old saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true. Not to mention the shipping alone from Spain to the U.S would be around $45.00 at the very least and this seller is offering FREE shipping?

Personally I'd pass on this outstanding and most likely scam seller vacuum purchase.

From Spain to the US would be well over $100 I would think. $45 is what it would cost to ship state to state in the US.

eBay purchase/bid history

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">It seems like 7 eBay shoppers have bought the TriStar MG2.</span>

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">The CURRENT model TriStar is actually a CS</span>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">EXL was made from 1999-2001</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">MG1 made from 2002-03</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">MG2 was current from 2004-07</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">MG3 from 2008-11</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;"> </span><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">CS from 2012-present.</span></li>
</ul>
<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">All of the above are A101 Series</span>

<span style="font-family: verdana,geneva;">Unless the seller (if selling the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">real thing</span>) was a former TriStar dealer & had MG2s left over marked for clearance sale? If anyone here has bought a TriStar from that eBay seller, is there ANY way to tell if it's a REAL TriStar or a counterfeit allegedly "branded" as a TriStar?</span>

"I asked the seller about it, and haven't received a reply"

So did I & I hope to receive HONEST answer(s); & hope I didn't buy a "knock-off" TriStar MG2.

Counterfeit items aren't allowed to be sold on eBay & most stores; but a few "mom & pop" stores in my area sold lots of fake merchandise. How can this be locally when I trusted local stores for YEARS?

One store selling fake Calvin Klein perfume.

Another store selling fake iPhones, fake iPads, fake Magnavox LED TVs & fake Beats Audio headphones.

Another store selling fake Express designerwear & fake Guess designerwear & fake Coach handbags.

Another store selling fake Panasonic electronics

Of all those stores selling counterfeit goods, only two were shut down; the owner of one of those stores even arrested.

Guys

This guy is a fake he pops up with all kinds of machines all for under $30.00 do you not understand if it seems too good to be true it is ???
There is no such thing as counterfit vacuums there is no market for them .
