Well....

From what I've been reading from a google search on them, they weren't that great by the low scores they got on ratings and the BBB gave them a low rating too. A lot of people were using the word (scam) in some of their ratings for parts ordered & 2 months later never arrived so we may never know.

they do appear to have folded up. Their phone has been disconnected and website is down. Went to look for something a little bit ago and that is what I found. I once ordered from them and swore only to do so again if they were the only supplier at a reasonable price. At least I eventually got my order, some of the reviews on bbb.com are people that got stiffed and have had to go dispute charges with their credit card companies.

Same thing we were discussing in the other thread... bad service will kill you faster than a bullet. A little humbleness and a few apologies and a focus on getting their service issues resolved would have made a different outcome possible. From my interaction with the owner, she probably screamed at everyone until they left and then tried to do it all herself to show them. Just supposition, but I could see it happening. She certainly did her best to make sure I never shopped there again without a good deal of desperation.

Well...

In late 2012, I purchased a replacement handle release pedal for my 2004 Bissell Cleanview (model 8975). It took 2 weeks to arrive, but when I got it, it wouldn't fit my vacuum. So I prepared to send it back, but decided not to because I had to pay the return shipping, which was about the cost of the part itself.

A couple of weeks later, I bought the correct handle release pedal off of Amazon.com, and it fit my vacuum perfectly. I eventually sold the other release pedal on Amazon for $1.00. Last year, I cleaned up the Bissell really well and donated it to Goodwill as I didn't need it anymore (I had a Dyson).

Meanwhile, I'm still looking for a replacement dirt cup for my Hoover Windtunnel 2 Rewind Pet.
