The BEST thing EVER happened to me! I'm getting a Miele s5381 Leo! It's scheduled to come directly from the Miele plant in Germany in late September! It's August 24th right now. Just got to tap my foot and stay on my toes. I'll post pictures and a review of it when it arrives. 'Till then tell me if you have a Leo and if you like it. If you don't have one, just tell me what will be good about it if you've tied it. I've never gotten the chance to see an s5 in real life but I've tried out many Miele's and have greatly considered one. I know I'll love it!

You still there?

Vacfanatic? Are you still a member of this forum? I know that in 2009 you had had problems with your s7 swing because the hose was 'slinking'. You ended up trading it in for an s5 Leo. Do you still have your Leo? If you do, tell me about it. Did you ever get the SEB-236 ELECTRO PREMIUM (or as it was know as in 09 POWER PLUS) power nozzle for your Leo? Your pictures from 09...

Yes, Miele did give it to me free. I wrote them a letter. You HAVE TO PROMISE ME that you won't tag after Miele for this, but here goes nothing, they looked in the factory in Germany, no Leo's. They looked in the wear house in California, no Leo's. They came back and said that their going to take a Callisto, and and make a custom Leo out of it. The German plant is making the panels as you read this. Their going to send it to the dealer and use this as promotional reasons.

Wow, that is some service! The only thing missing is the European delivery plan like some German and Swedish cars offer. Pick up your vacuum at the factory, take a tour of the plant, see your vacuum built, and have a week of vacuuming your hotel room before they box it up and ship it back to the US for you. 240/50 to 120/60 power converter free of charge, heh, heh, heh. No, seriously ..........

That is pretty cool of Miele to do that. Most companies would just put you on a back order list.

Misunderstanding

Sorry for the misunderstanding.......my previous post was & is my wish/dream from Miele. I'm hoping when I contact them they will fulfill my dream as I stated. Sorry again for the misunderstanding.
