A pretty darn nice 55 AirWay!,The hose is one I had,the one with it was an 88 hose that was totally shot,it even had a pack of bags with one left in it...ordered in 1963, the lady said she was born in 51 and it was the only vacuum she remembered as a child.

They changed to the model 66 type attachments in 1949, so your Air-Way was really a post-war 1946 - 1948 model. Very nice machine. I'm sure it's spotless inside.

Surprisingly

It is clean, all but the sound supressor and I bought some very similar material to make a new one so I wont have black dots all over the floor.it does have a lot of power!
