Actually, no because the brush and bin were still perfectly fine after being used in the fire TWICE. The vacuum got destroyed when it was SET on fire, not been used to. The Dyson can cope with it actually, I am worried about metal being dented though, from a bump against furniture. My Dysons just get a scratch from the corner of my marble fireplace surrounding, would a metal one get scratched? No. It will get dented
