Why, I can't say I have come across any Electrolux as peculiar as this one. This XXX is your standard XXX made between 1948 and 1952. However, it has a "power strip" along the side of it for a power nozzle and who knows what else it's for. The hose I got with it doesn't say Electrolux, but it sure looks like it's genuine. It's an electric hose in FANTASTIC condition, although it's not perfectly airtight. The cord I got with it is not a Belden cord, but rather says:

ELECTRO

-------

 LUX

It's definitely an older cord. The cloth bag has a few sewn-up holes in it and says "America's/Most Advanced/Vacuum Cleaner/The/New/Electrolux/Automatic/See It Today/Electrolux Corporation/235 East 42nd Street New York 17, N.Y." (slashes indicate "return/enter")

This vacuum has definitely been redone by Electrolux...I am sure of it! I will also get pictures for everyone, as we know we all love pictures! :-) It also comes with two steel wands and a rug tool. I got it for free from a nice couple at church. They said they might "make a deal with me" regarding another Electrolux that is "slightly newer," so who knows what those two ""'s mean... :-D

Keep checking this thread out over the next few days when I add pictures! It's a bizarre vacuum, to say the least!
