The Famous Hoover Floor a Matic!

This just arrived today. The Hoover Floor a Matic model 3616. It differed from the original model only in color and best of all, a headlight. I like the machines that light up the best. I have looked for years for one. I turned one down that Jeff Parker had found at a flea market, so I have had to wait years as punishment to find another one. These must not have sold very well as there are not too many around. This one was used very gently and it came from ebay last month. It took forever for them to ship it, but it arrived safe and sound and I guess that is what is important. Here it is headlight off...

That is very neat. I have never seen a floor polisher with a headlight. Nice find.

It's very nice, I like the yellow and of course the light. I've never run across one of them or seen one. I'm wondering if they were even sold in Canada though I can't see why not. Saw an Elux polisher with tank at the Sally Ann today, minus the brushes and I've a half mind to go back and get it but I don't need yet another floor polisher

Tom, I'm so thrilled you got this. I actually did see it and considered it, and after reading some of the seller comments I backed off. I went back later to check and saw it had been sold to you, and I was happy it was going to a good home, to which I'm glad it safely arrived even if it took a while.

I had thought there was only the one model that had the headlight, now we know there were at least two.
