Yesterday, I began cleaning out my garage in preparation for a move in June. Because I'm not the tidiest of homeowners, the floor was covered with all kinds of debris -- dirt, lint from the dryer, tree leaves, dog hair, etc. I needed a vacuum to suck it all up, so I chose this Electrolux. And I must say, "It's a beast!" The bag was already about half full with dog hair. So when I started vacuuming, I expected the bag to quickly reach its limit and shut off. But it kept going and going and going and never shut off automatically. When I finished, I checked its suction and airflow, fully expecting it to be pretty weak. But I was proven wrong! Even with a a bag filled with debris, it still had strong suction and airflow. I was duly impressed!

Impressive indeed. Being solely an Electrolux user, I find they do tend to maintain their high suction and airflow as the bag fills up. Of course there are exceptions when suction drops dramatically, but overall, for pure long-lasting sustained cleaning power, I love them.

Nothing Sucks Like an Electrolux

Exactly. Is your hose a genuine Electrolux? It appears to be, but I don't see the logo on the handle, and I don't recall them making one with an on/off switch (Actually, I'd rather have your type of hose as it has the switch plus the sliding suction reducer).
