But it feels like December 25th to me! The UPS man just dropped off a package that has absolutely made my week......maybe even my month!! My spectacular eBay find that I was so excited about last week has arrived! I just put a brand new bag in it, plugged her in, and that motor purrs like a kitten! Even the original hose seems to be rather airtight which is surprising! Next I need to find a power nozzle that sort of matches as that was the only thing missing! I’ll try to get all three of them set up later and get a photo of the triplets. In the meantime, this is what I grabbed so far.....

Thanks John!

These machines are my “Holy Grail” machines, so running across one in the wild (eBay) is something that doesn’t happen often....in fact, last time I saw one was 8 years ago when I found and bought my 1st CE! Having three of them in my collection is something I wouldn’t allow myself to hardly dream about, let alone actually happen! Now I need to find one of those special Golden Hoover Convertibles!!

Echoing what John said,

Merry Christmas! Nice to see what I'll probably never have, haha. These siblings were separated at birth and are now reunited and will be together,"home for the Holidays!" Congrats, enjoy enjoy enjoy! Billy

Thank you all!

I’ve been giddy with excitement ever since I paid for the machine and made it officially mine.....so today, I decided to get them all together and take a “family” photo or two....😊

Johnny Mathis

Sorry John, I’m not sure where my Johnny Mathis album is at the moment.....BUT, how about some old Blue Eyes instead? Too hot to turn the oven on right now to bake cookies, but maybe later this evening I’ll whip up a batch! LOL!

I’ve heard about the club’s CE, in fact, I’ve even seen a few pictures of it. I’d LOVE to attend one of the meetings and bring mine with me to join up with the club’s!

The PN5

That PN5 you paired with it actually was a nice choice...while it’s not lighted, it does have nice coloring and the chrome accent plate to go with the unit. I was about to suggest buying a new Aerus PN since they are black now to go with it. Perhaps you can see if Aerus is making the rubber hoses for these in the current black color, that would go nicely as a replacement hose to preserve those beautiful braided silver ones should you decide to use these machines regularly.

Also, I notice sometimes the braided hoses last longer if the environmental conditions are right to prevent the rubber inside from drying out over the years. My Mother has a 1983 Silverado era hose that is not leaking on her Model L. It gets used lightly as it’s the upstairs vacuum for their vacation home which they use only 3 months out of the year and the upstairs is only 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and a small hall. Though for several years it was the downstairs vac that is a much larger space, only a few years ago did Mom swap it to upstairs after I got her a rubber hose for the Silverado which was upstairs and she said she prefers the flexibility of the rubber hose so she swapped the machines since the downstairs is much larger with 2 living areas, sizable eat in kitchen, dining room, and 2 more bedrooms.
