Hoovers & carpet & quilt & big CDs(as my nephew calls them) & more!
By coincidence I will have a nice more standard brown version(no cordwinder,etc.)with rounded hood in my next EBay vacs.I also have as many as SIX of the super deluxe in pic 5 above for parts or to restore.(Almost)FINAL WARNING on my deluxe gold Eurekas--The space they take up is now of more value to me than the Eurekas.When I start selling and scrapping(SOON!)they will be among the first to GO! If anyone has any interest in them let me know.
Now back to your Eurekas and Hoovers.I feel that they were neck and neck in cleaning ability most of the time.But from decade to decade it might change as to who was Number 1.What is your experience?
