Try saying that 5 times...I practiced all the way home. Wrote a song about it. The Twingle Jingle. Wanna hear it? Fire Gods angry! We must leave Island! But first...I dance for you! Oh, never mind...

Wow!!! Just catching up. What an exciting busy spectacular vacuum finding weekend its been for everyone here on the threads - The Twingle was in the air...

I dashed down to the Toledo area to personally pick up a really nice Hoover something and paid a late afternoon visit to Chad's Ann Arbor Vacuum Shop on the way back. Vacuums just kept jumping in the car when I left the doors open. I swear, I'd stop at a light or a thrift shop parking lot, the doors would be mysteriously opened by a phantom hand and the darn things just hopped in & made themselves at home. Got home too late to do the garage door glamor group shot so here's a teasing preview...details tomorrow.

Where James Dyson really got his design inspiration...

Diet Smith's Space Coupe he built to return, nay shuttle Moon Maid back and forth so Dick Tracy could admire her one piece Moon Suit. The Space Coupe used Magnetism for propulsion and maneuvering. Diet Smith, the famed Industrialist also invented Dick Tracy's Wrist TV Radio. :-)

Anyway, I had this 'school bus yellow' model kit featured in the Saturday Comics Dick Tracy pages as a wee tot and would make 'magnetic' theremin sound effects as I landed it on fantasy buildings made from my Girder & Panel set. Oh memories...

First time I saw a yellow Dyson it was the Space Coupe I thought of...and still do. See what I mean? Justification enough for bringing home this free one gifted to, rather thrust eagerly into my hands, from Chad. It was a trade-in. Hope you sold him a Miele, Chad. :-)

Well, I always said the only Dyson I would buy would be a free one. I love it and look forward to restoring it to sucking condition - it will form a fine contrast to the Fantoms in the small corner reserved for Bagless Cyclones.

Dyson vs Hoover. Who will triumph?

Apples & Bananas. I will do the comparison of the Dyson with the Fantoms. :-) What with the clever on-board telscopic wand & hose should keep it fair & all...

speaking of Dyson I really want one but I am a little confused on which model to get.

I dont want problems with the clutch so that narrows it down to a clutchless model. I do want an upright but I also love the power and design of the Canister. maybe a little advise would be great.

thanks
Mike
