So, boredom kicked in again, after a long walk. Pretty out, still cool enough to bake! Ina Garten's Cranberry Orange scones always turn out nice, but darn messy for me to roll anything out, bench flour and all. Small kitchen, have to clear the decks to pull that rolling trick off! Gets everything cleaned well anyway!

MMM Deliccioso David!

I have also made them. I also like Ina's Beaty's chocolate cake and fruit cake cookies.
She is on TV right now making them again.

David,

for sure we need help eating it. We only make it for birthdays or special occasions.
No missing the green book cover for sure. My mom sort of looked like Ina back in her mid fifties (back in the 80's) like on the cover photo.

I have a big binder

of recipes I have printed off of the food network website by both Ina and Rachel Ray, Tyler Florence, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, etc.
All sleeved in clear protective jackets.
A few years back, I was considering catering as a cottage food business, but the numbers just didn't add up. I was also tired of working weekends.
I helped out a friend on a few occasions. Snobby people are also a pain to work for.

I've not

had her coconut cake, but it sounds yummy.
It's raining here, and damp, so I'm making pulled pork and cole slaw.
I have to fast from 7 p.m. for blood work tomorrow morning.
Hubby won't let me do much until we know whats up with my groin.
Boring. Doc. says it's not a hernia. Ultra sound also tomorrow.
