Yes, the carpet is a dead giveaway. Whenever I see a Youtube thumbnail with that carpet, I know it's one of Alex's videos.

I'm sure we had something very like it in the first house I shared with my partner. It was soon ripped up and replaced with a nice neutral harvest beige carpet throughout the house.

I have had video requests in the past of people asking me to vacuum my feet, errr, no!!

Regarding carpets, LOADS of ppl had them flower type carpets through out their houses like a decade ago like what Alex has, or some pattern styles. We had one similar to Alex, but it was bright red instead of dark blue with flowers. Now it's all plain
We used to have a carpeted house, we had hard floors downstairs for a few years now with large area rugs and carpet upstairs. Now we are getting our house done up again with two extensions, means new everything. New tile floors which look like wood floor now for us downstairs
