VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Awe thanks John!!!
We had a blast, and I have been blessed with Shaylee. I was so glad we were able to stop off in St. Louis to see Rick twice. He is a very special friend and is the one who introduced this club to me over a decade ago. Can't wait till next year

Hey, I see me with my Electrolux, What? power nozzle. That was such a fun time! Jon you had so many machines for sale. Andy even brought some to sell as well! I can't believe it went by so fast!

You're right Andy, his name is Mike. He is a member of Vacuum Land, but not a member of VCCC. He lives in St. Louis, and came to the Vacuum Museum for the Collector's Convention this year. He's using a Lakewood green Kenmore KenKart attached to the Riccar cordless power nozzle, in the 1950's room of the Vacuum Cleaner Museum.

Andy,
That is Mike M from Jersey. He's been coming to VCCC conventions since about 05 or 06. I am going to attempt to spell his last name but I'm sure I will get it wrong. Miglireno

Hi Naperville Vac.

Somebody told me you are located on Ogden Ave. across from what was once was Grandma Sally's restaurant. The V.C.C.C. headquarters was right around the corner on Sherman Ave. The exact address was 5 south 437. At that time mine was the only two story house on that street. I lived there from August 85-May 95.

There was a Dunkin donuts on my corner, and our members stayed at the Stardust motel, there was also a Bakers Square there too.

Hi Andy.

You did, and I told you this was exactly where my house was.

I turn my home into a headquarters for the club and open a museum in my otherwise unused garage. So what happens? no vacuum cleaner shops for miles, then I move to California and a vac shop opens in my former back yard.

Looks like I need to do a road trip to Naperville to meet this guy. When I do, want to join me?

Alex Taber.
