This is what happens when you take a laissez-faire approach to moderation... you get scumbag 12-year-olds who troll and post porn. Not even good porn, either.

Apparently some folks set up a new Discord server - who the heck was running the old one? Why didn't they have moderators??? - It's not entirely clear to me who's running the new one, either. But whatever.

I was going to insist I be made a mod to handle things like this late in the evening when I'm online, but at this time, I really have no intention of rejoining a server that the owners care so little about that I get @'d with irl scat. The new guys seem to have their own people... who they are, I have no idea. But at least they have people, and at the very least, a modicum of experience of what happens when you don't.

When it comes to Discord, it's inevitable for that to happen. Many public groups have that and this was no exception.

It only happened because Alex lost ownership of the old server. So we couldn't really do anything else than move to a new server.
