My Shop-vac 16 gallons vacuum is a beast.
I added a cartridge filter and paper bag to make cleaning the thank easy. Also made the hose 24 feet long by joining 3 hose end to end .Also i took a previous shopvac bin and attach it whit a cord i put the attachements it in act as a tool bin.

These SV vacuums work really well for HOME use-the plastic bodies and their motors just don't hold up for commercial-industrial use.already the few years old similar SV machines we have at the transmitter site are slated to be replaced. Not only picking up whatever dry material-but spilled water from transmitter cooling systems that have sprung leaks.Too the machines here get misused since they are used by multiple users that don't care about vacuum cleaners.I have given up trying to care for vacuums that get mistreated here at work.the motors in the SV vacuums get corroded because adfter wet pickup-users don't dump their drums-so the motor is constantly exposed to the moisture.

I agree

I agree in commercial use vacuums dont stand a chance. For home yae and cleaning my basement and shed it is ideal i just love it.Whit the loong hose its perfect.
